Mastercraftsmen colt cost €28,000 as a yearling. Broke well and pacy to win on Irish debut in May over 5f. Bred to be suited by this extra distance and sold since for 15,000 gns. May have had issues but a major player on stable debut

Tamayuz half-brother to Fakhoor and Amthaal, winners over 7f and 5f. Sent off 7/2 when slowly away before some late progress on sole start for Simon Crisford last year. Sold for 9,000 gns last month ahead of stable and season debut.

Son of Shamardal fetched 70,000 gns as a yearling and a first foal to a juvenile Listed winner. Stable capable of readying a newcomer and are particularly dangerous with three-year-olds. Worth a market check on debut.

From family of yard's standard-bearer Jack Dexter. Green but some promise on C&D debut but below that on second start over 7f at Redcar. Likely to need more time.

Improved significantly from his Newcastle (AW) debut when second over 5f on soft ground at Thirsk this month. Still looked in need of the run so improvement likely, however the form has a moderate look about it.

Son of Oasis Dream and a 7th foal; closely related to winner Memorial Day and a half-brother to winners Recordman and Mountain Spring. Represents a top stable on debut but bred to need much further in time.

Daughter of Iffraaj and a half-sister to classy sprinters Marsha and Judicial. Well backed but never got involved on Carlisle debut over this trip in June. Would need to see significant improvement to be involved.

Forecasts

Mutafawwig (5/4), Futuristic (2/1), Double Martini (5/1), Buniann (9/1), Marvel (12/1), Gleniffer (16/1), Loretta (25/1)

Verdict

The market will be a good guide with Double Martini after being sold relatively cheaply following a winning debut, however if he does turn up in similar form, he looks sure to be involved. BUNIANN is another to move stables after one start but he joins a yard in good form following a promising sole run last year. He looked in need of the experience there and is bred to be smart. Futuristic is an intriguing newcomer for a stable who do so well with this age group.
