Sea The Stars filly cost €750,000 as a yearling. Dwelt, ran green but still ran on well for a fine second on debut over 7f at Newmarket. Looks sure to improve for the extra trip and experience and sets a very strong standard. Holds a Group 1 entry.

Dark Angel filly, half-sister to three winners and dam a Group 2 6f winner as a juvenile. Looked in need of time when slowly away and never involved at Glorious Goodwood. Represents powerful connections but plenty more required.

Cityscape filly and a full-sister to winner Hector's Here. Hampered leaving the stalls and never figured on Leicester debut. Improvement likely for this stable but still hard to make a case for.

Daughter of Finjaan was sent off 50/1 and finished a tailed off last of 6 on this month's Chester debut. Stable not at all known for juvenile winners and remains easy to dismiss.

Footstepsinthesand filly from a Listed-placed 1m4f winning dam. Well held on Newbury debut and worse still on second start at Epsom. Hard to fancy on evidence to date.

War Front filly and a second foal out a Galileo mare. Stable haven't been profitable to follow with their juveniles this year but still more than capable of readying a newcomer. One to note in the market on debut.

€525,000 yearling daughter of Galileo; a full sister to Mary Somerville (placed 7f AW 2yo) out of a 6f-7f winner (inc a juvenile Group 3). Showed pace over 7f at Ascot on debut before weakening from 2f out. Likely to be fitter for the run.

Forecasts

Alpen Rose (8/11), Stars In The Sky (2/1), Ruby Shield (9/1), Queen Of Camelot (10/1), Good Reason (12/1), Loco Dempsey (28/1), Pearl Beach (50/1), Mrs Tiffen (100/1)

Verdict

The debut form of ALPEN ROSE is way ahead of her rivals and for an all-powerful stable, she looks more than likely to add to their superb juvenile record. Likewise Stars In The Sky is clear of the rest and her stable's runners tend to come on nicely for their debut. Ruby Shield rates an interesting newcomer.
