Did win on sole visit here last year. Has struggled in hot handicaps of late but this represents quite a drop in class and if coping with the extra 2f should be competitive.
Was trying a variety of trips in the spring when last seen and while out of his depth in Listed event the last time, some of his other efforts give him claims here.
Failed by just a head to make it three out of three over C&D in June and can be forgiven Newcastle defeat since when the 1m4f trip found him out. Optimum conditions tonight and one for the short list.
Has long had a big reputation and been sent off hot favourite on all six career runs. First go now on the AW and if taking to it should go well with one of her relations having won on it.
Has been kept busy but ran right up to best when fourth in hot handicap at Goodwood last time and a repeat of that will see him figure. As the sole three-year-old in the field may have more to come.
Ran one of his better races on penultimate start but below that level since and two previous attempts at this distance haven't convinced. Others look more solid at the trip.
Forecasts
Herculean (6/4), Victory Command (11/4), Lexington Empire (4/1), Lush Life (8/1), Philamundo (10/1), Three Weeks (20/1), Cohesion (66/1)
LEXINGTON EMPIRE clearly likes it here and this looks his perfect trip so that combination may be enough to see off Herculean who hasn't yet lived up to his reputation though if taking to this surface will be a big threat. Victory Command ran a cracker at Goodwood in a strong contest and will be hard to keep out of the frame.
