Hasn't landed a blow in handicaps on turf recently but this surface is what brings out the best in him and impressive when scoring over 7f here in June. 8lb higher and needs to prove he stays this far but if doing so is a player.
Has kept company in the hottest handicaps this summer and latest run in Golden Mile can be forgiven from worst of the draw. First run here on AW and will appreciate the drop in grade.
Returned from a long absence at Newbury last month and that run should have brought him on. Nearly all career runs have been over 7f but worth another go at this trip and very lightly raced for his age.
His AW form has all been at Newcastle and ran badly when tailed off in valuable Ascot handicap last time. If coping with Polytrack here he should have more to come for his in-form yard.
9lb lower than last seen on AW and has some fair form from last year but proving disappointing and hard to have much faith in until showing a return to his old form.
Won here in 2017 from only two previous visits. Generally seen in strong handicaps over further and could be interesting if employing front running tactics with a tongue tie for the first time.
Two from two here both over 1m2f, but showed this trip is fine for him with a Pontefract win last time and although wide draw to negotiate, hard to rule out with his season going from strength to strength.
Succession of solid placed efforts since Kempton win last October until Sandown last time but even then, better than final position indicates having been eased final furlong. Another to command respect in an open race.
1m2f looked beyond him when stepping up in trip on latest but previous placed efforts, including when second to smart handicapper at Salisbury are solid pieces of form and back at optimum trip now.
Not at best in last four runs and handicapper slow to relent. Step up in trip needs to inspire having never raced beyond 7f before but plenty from this yard improve when sent over further.
Very much an AW horse with all bit one of his runs having been on this surface. Two further solid efforts over C&D recently and should make another bold bid here.
