This seems to be his preferred venue with five wins from nine visits and bounced back to winning form when last seen in June under this claimer for the first time. 4lb rise from higher draw gives him more to do but dangerous to rule out.
Always on the back foot after a rare slow start at Ascot last Saturday but normally very speedy from the gate and well treated on first AW run for 18 months. Has the plum draw if breaking to his usual standard.
Runner up in this a year ago and has maintained his level of form at the minimum distance since. Back on the AW for the first time since April which should be in his favour and solid claims in a hot handicap.
Not the force of old but still good enough to finish on the heels of the placed horses in the "Dash". Rare try here on the AW having just his third run of his career on it.
Two wins from five visits here and that combined with first time visor may bring him back to his best having been just below that level in two runs since his short-head defeat in a match at Newmarket last month.
Hasn't had many goes on the AW but showed a bit more when fourth here a week ago though this is a tougher contest so needs to step up again on that.
Better than final position suggest in Stewards Cup consolation when not finding as much as seemed likely. A win and a third in pair of visits here but they were both at 6f and now takes on seasoned 5f specialists.
Proving very difficult to catch right and losing run now dates back over a year. Hasn't had many goes on the AW but needs to bounce back to best to take this.
