An interesting maiden to round things off, with Jaime Sommers one of the main contenders. She shouldn't be judged too harshly on her only start on the flat when well-beaten at the Curragh in what was a decent race. This looks more manageable and she should be there or thereabouts. So too should Listen Dear who returns from an absence which is of no concern considering how well she has ran on her return from breaks in the past. The lightly raced SOLE PRETENDER is of most interest though. He performed creditably in the Galway Hurdle after a pair of effortless victories, & should have no problem making a winning debut on the flat after he won a bumper on debut last May.
