C&D winner last season and came good at Kempton last time out before 13L third in 7f Newbury handicap won by Misu Pete last month. Down slightly in class for this but could be in grip of the handicapper.
Remains a maiden but bounced back from disappointing Haydock effort with fifth of nine at York (7f, good to firm) last month. This is a much easier race and holds claims in this company.
Impressive winner on the turf at Newbury (7f, good to soft) in July and ran up to his mark once again with narrow defeat at Wolverhampton (7f) at the start of the month. 10lb higher now but sets the form standard.
Versatile trip-wise and bounced back to form with solid second in 1m contest at this track at the end of last month. Remains 6lb below last winning mark and holds solid claims.
Remains a maiden after seven starts and has been out of sorts this season. Latest 18L defeat at Ripon (6f) and not easy to fancy off the back of that performance.
Has shown very little on the track and failed to make any impressions since switching to this yard, including 12L 11th in 7f Chepstow handicap. Probably one for claimers/sellers.

Misu Pete comes into the race in top form after repeated respectable efforts and is entitled to go well once again, however the major rise in the handicap now suggests no chances are being taken at this stage while In The Cove is of interest for a yard who rarely fire horses at apprentice handicaps as well as Bounty Pursuit, who has been left on a dangerous mark. Preference is for PUNJAB MAIL, who ran a more than respectable race in a hot York handicap on his latest start and looks on handy mark for an apprentice who has been amongst the winners recently.
