Has proved to be incapable of dealing with 8lb rise in the weights for comfortable Killarney (1m; good) success. This is a drop in class, and apprentice jockey offsets some of his heavy weight so he is not without a chance.

Won over this C&D in June 2017. Currently on a long losing run at present, and mark has slid 8lb below his last winning one. Tends to run in very warm handicaps, so this represents a severe drop in grade which could work the oracle.

Placed disappointing effort at Galway (7f; good) behind him when returning to his consistent ways to finish third in this grade at Sligo (1m2f; good) recently. Narrowly behind Grove Hill then, but worse off with that mare now.

Looked regressive in three starts for new yard this year since switching stables, where he has never looked a live threat in handicaps. Subsequently difficult to recommend and only a watching brief can be advised at present. Drops in trip/grade.

Looked to be getting the hang of things when she made handicap debut in nurseries at the end of last year. Underwhelming performance upon seasonal return at Fairyhouse (7f; good). Entitled to improve from that, and it is foolish to dismiss her.

Running consistently well prior to proving a major disappointment the last twice. More exposed than some in this field, but he isn't completely ruled out with the possibility of a return to form on the cards as he drops in class.

Shed her maiden tag at the 12th attempt when dropped into this grade at Sligo (1m2f; good) recently. Had been involved when running in similar company in the past, so she should really be there or thereabouts once again.

Not as good the last twice after breaking maiden tag in competitive handicap at Fairyhouse (1m4f; good to yielding). Drops in trip and grade now which should enable her to get involved. On the shortlist.

Form has curtailed the last twice, after she made a fairly encouraging start to her 2019 campaign. Best to forgive her latest effort when unable to beat a single rival in competitive 14-runner handicap at Galway, especially in today's context.

Handicap debut when 12th of 13 at Ballinrobe over this trip last month was particularly uninspiring and she now has four duck eggs beside her name. Drop in grade needs to work major revival.

Bit more exposed than most in this field. Didn't seem to benefit massively for the drop in grade to this sphere when sixth of 10 at Killarney (1m; good) last month. On a long losing streak.

Showed no improvement for the step up to 1m when only manging to beat one rival in an 11-runner affair at Cork (1m; good) on Sunday. Steps up in trip again, but is now dropped in class.

No better than midfield on debut in fairly warm maiden at Galway (1m; good) at the beginning of this month. Now drops in class to claiming company, and could get more involved if showing some improvement from that first career run.

Shown nothing to enthuse over in maidens. Tailed off when last seen on the AW at Dundalk (1m; standard) back in early-February. This represents a drop in-grade, but still not one to place maximum faith in until showing more.

Made no impact on either of his two career starts so far in maidens. This is slightly easier than previous assignments, but he still has an awful to prove on what he has shown so far.

Forecasts

Tennessee Wildcat (3/1), High Street Lady (4/1), Master Speaker (9/2), Eastern Racer (5/1), Grove Hill (7/1), Scotts Honor (10/1), Firlinfeu (12/1), Never Rains (12/1), Castle Guest (14/1), Marylebone (33/1), Roses Queen (40/1), Border Battle (50/1), Wild Willie Wynne (50/1), Vociferous Marette (66/1), Doi Suthep (100/1), Mianna (100/1), Jungle Gazelle (100/1)

Verdict

A few of these are dropping in class, compared to the usual grade of race they tend to run in. Grove Hill & Eastern Racer are closely matched on the form of their recent encounter at Sligo where the former finished a length in front of the latter. Master Speaker hasn't shown his best form the last twice but demolished his opposition when successful at Killarney in July. He should fare more competitively with the drop in class in his favour. However, we'll opt for TENNESSEE WILDCAT who has found premier handicaps too much to handle this season, but the return to calmer waters can see him return to winning ways for his bang in-form stable.
  1. Tennessee Wildcat
  2. Grove Hill
  3. Master Speaker
