Faces a difficult task on his Flat debut having run well over fences recently; landed a gamble at Cartmel over 2m1f last month. Will handle the ground but sure to find this trip on the short side against some unexposed three-year-olds.
Rare runner at the track for the trainer (5-12 here since 2014); green on both his starts so far (started favourite last time) over 1m. Not well placed when tried on the AW last time, not knocked around; fine pedigree, tongue-tie goes on.
Third effort for one who has shown modest form so far having been tried over a couple of different trips at Ripon (1m4f last time). Back down in trip this time; looks to have a stiff task, will be seen to better effect off a lowly mark in handicaps.
45,000 guineas yearling; third foal out of an unraced dam closely related to Canadian 1m1f Grade 2 turf winner Ambitious Cat. Makes his debut in testing conditions; may well need the run, yard not known for runners of this type.
Shaped encouragingly when second on his debut to Yellow Tiger (ran well at Shergar Cup meeting) over 1m3f here last month; showed inexperience but finished off well. Open to progress despite the drop in trip if he handles this softer surface.
Shaped well on debut over C&D (Roman Stone second) before dropping in trip to be second over 1m at Pontefract to an odds-on winner (beaten 5L). Gradually getting the hang of things; open to further progress, might be better once handicapped.
Yard have a good record with their runners here (5-15 since 2014); this one showing plenty of promise on her debut at Doncaster over 1m2f beating all bar front two. Bred to be useful she's she sure to improve and thrive if handling conditions.

Plenty of promising candidates amongst the runners although we are rather in the dark about their ability to handle a testing surface. Noble Music has the best form on offer having finished third on her debut behind the Group-class colts Telecaster and Bangkok but she does have a 136-day break to deal with and is untested on ground this soft. Fiery Mission has also shown plenty of potential and shouldn’t be far away while Baladio is another likely contender having taken a step forward last time. ROMAN STONE is taken to make a bold bid having already proved himself around here over further when finishing second to one who has run well at a higher level since.
