Was successful for the first time this year over this C&D last time where she scored by a neck. Has only gone up 1lb for that win which gives her a great chance of following it up here. Leading player.
Experienced gelding who has yet to score in 2019 but has gone close on his last two starts. He was third of 11 last time here over 5f when going off as the 13/8 favourite. Has been raised 1lb and is up in trip. One for shortlist.
His sole success came over this C&D. Started the season by hitting the frame at Musselburgh on his opening two starts but his recent efforts at this track have been disappointing. Needs to bounce back so others are preferred.
Has hit the frame in his last four starts, with a stretch which started with success at Catterick over 7f. Remains off the same mark as his recent second place finish at Catterick (7f). Up in trip and blinkers on for first time. Has a good chance.
Has yet to hit the frame in his six starts so far, including latest which came over this C&D. Has been eased 2lb since last run, however, it is hard to make a case for him on what he has shown so far.
A C&D winner here last year but has been unable to follow it up since then. Was third of 12 over this C&D two starts back where she was only ¾L behind the winner. Could only finish seventh of 14 last time at Carlisle (5f). Each-way chance.
His last success came on the AW at Wolverhampton (6f) in August 2018. His form has taken a big step backwards this season. Had just one horse behind him last time in a 17 runner field at Cork (7f). Down to a career low mark now but hard to fancy.
Experienced mare who does not have a very good strike-rate. Has been well-beaten on her four starts this season, including latest over this C&D when 10th of 12. Others make more of an appeal.

Macs Blessings (7/4), Forever A Lady (4/1), Ancient Astronaut (9/2), Jessie Allan (6/1), Jacob's Pillow (6/1), Popping Corks (7/1), Mr Shelby (12/1), Rickyroadboy (12/1), Indiaro (28/1), Palavicini Run (40/1)
FOREVER A LADY appreciated the drop down in trip last time to score over this C&D where, although the official distance was a neck, she never looked like being passed. The handicapper has only raised her 1lb in the weights so she has a great chance of following up here. Macs Blessings has been in contention at the finish in all four of his last starts, expect that to continue here, while Jacob's Pillow has shown enough evidence on his last two starts to suggest he can finish in the frame in this contest.
