Ran a huge race in a Group 3 at Newmarket at the end of last season and didn't need to improve to win a novice even at Bath on return. Hasn't looked as effective over this trip though and well beaten here last time.
Listed winner as a juvenile but signs he hasn't trained on this year. Not disgraced in a Newbury Group 3 last time out but others look better treated.
Has some solid form in France. Broke his maiden in the UK last September at Ripon over 6f in a five runner field. Went close on his last start at Windsor over this distance when second of five, beaten ½L. Not ruled out.
Won at Lingfield in April and produced a big run in a valubale York handicap next time out. Drop back in trip could suit but has a bit to prove from this handicap mark.
Didn't need to improve to land a maiden at Ripon and shaped like this handicap mark was well within his grasp at York last time out when second of 22 behind Recon Mission (runs earlier on card). Leading claims on that evidence.
Only narrowly denied in a hat-trick bid by Kinks at Newmarket last time out. 5lb rise demands more but gives the impression the stiff nature of this track should suit.
Gained a first win for well over a year when defying Pass The Vino a hat-trick at Newmarket last time out. 6lb higher here though against some less exposed rivals.
AW winner as a juvenile. Yet to win on turf in 10 starts but went close at Goodwood last time out. Each-way player from a 2lb higher mark if he copes with the drop back in trip.
Bolted up in a novice event at Chester and wasn't disgraced at Royal Ascot last time out when 10th of 28. Could well have more to give on just his second start in handicap company.
Novice winner at York as a juvenile but hit and miss since and well beaten in behind Pass The Vino at Newmarket last time out; has plenty to find on that evidence.

Forecasts
Victory Day (7/4), Hero Hero (4/1), Pass The Vino (9/2), Kinks (10/1), Barbill (10/1), Jack's Point (11/1), Magical Wish (12/1), Yousini (12/1), Junius Brutus (20/1), Buckingham (20/1), Woven (25/1), The Cruising Lord (25/1)
A competitive finale but there's a fair chance VICTORY DAY could be well ahead of the handicapper judged on his York run last time and he makes most appeal on just his fifth career start. Kinks and Pass The Vino are closely matched on their Newmarket form from last time out and can go well again.
