River Cam (7/4), Huraiz (13/2), Spantik (13/2), Abbotside (7/1), Kayewhykelly (8/1), Rushcutters Bay (12/1), Asstech (14/1), Jamaal Danehill (14/1), Najm (25/1), Staxton Hill (25/1), Clotherholme (25/1), Kayat (33/1), Top Attraction (100/1)

Verdict

A juvenile contest which is potentially more about the future than the present with any number surely capable of winning races. Of the newcomers the likes of Huraiz (Mark Johnston) and Spantik (Archie Watson) should be tracked in the betting. However, the suspicion is that experience will come to the fore with the fillies' River Cam and Kayewhykelly obvious candidates, although it's possible that Rushcutters Bay and ASSTECH may offer a shade more value. The selection was never able to land a blow behind the smart Treble Treble at Haydock three weeks ago, but if breaking in a more timely fashion on his AW debut looks capable of an improved effort.
  1. Asstech
  2. River Cam
  3. Huraiz
