A maiden on the Flat after 16 runs. Has had one attempt over hurdles so far where he was eighth of 19 at Leopardstown (2m) back in December 2017. Was last of 12 on last start on the AW at Wolverhampton (7f). Hard to fancy.
Has been well held on his two starts so far in bumpers. Was sixth of 10 last time st Sligo (2m2f) when going off at 8/1. Needs to improve over hurdles. Best to watch on opening run over obstacles and step up in trip.

Failed to make an impression on debut run here over 2m1½f last month as he could only come home 13th of 15 as a 100/1 shot. Up in trip but it would be a big surprise if he found enough improvement to be competitive.

Produced his best performance to date last time at Downpatrick (2m6f) when fourth of eight. This drop down in trip should help his chances on what will be his fourth start over hurdles. Each-way claims.

Has shown some promise in his last two starts, with his latest appearance coming at Downpatrick (2m3f) where he was third of nine after going off as the 11/4 joint-favourite. Leading player if he can build on form this season.

Point-to-point winner who has hit the frame in all four of his starts this season. He went off as the 7/2 favourite at Ballinrobe (2m1½) last time but had to settle for third of 14. Blinkers on for the first time here. Has the pick of the form.

Has been beaten a long way on his two starts under Rules so far. Made his debut over hurdles last time at Kilbeggan (2m) but finished 70L behind the winner in 12th place of 14. Cheekpieces on for first time. Difficult to make a case for.

Has shown some promise over hurdles and fences but still looking for his first win after 11 races. Was third of 10 over this distance at Wexford two starts back. Returns to hurdles after unseating his rider last time over fences. One to consider.

Was denied by just a short-head at Clonmel (2m½f) when second of 17 back in February. Since then he has failed to build upon that on his two starts. Needs to bounce back but he has proved he is capable. Each-way chance.
Has been well held on his two bumper starts so far. She was fifth of 12 on her debut at Tramore (2m), while she then came home seventh of 18 at Cork (2m). Up in trip on hurdles debut. One to watch for now.
Showed glimpses of promise in bumpers but has struggled so far over hurdles. She was pulled-up last time Wexford over 3m where she didn't stay. This step down in trip will help but it is still hard to make a case for her.
Has had just the one run so far. She was ninth of 14 at Kilbeggan over 2m where she was always at the rear of the field and never made an impression. Needs to improve on this step up in trip. Not one that stands out.

Verdict

IFICUDIWUD has been running consistently well without success this season but this looks a fantastic opportunity for him to finally break his maiden tag. The blinkers should help and the opposition does not look too strong. Guttural has delivered two promising runs recently around this distance to suggest he will be in the shake up here at the finish, while Monition is back over hurdles and if he jumps better, is good enough to be in contention over this distance.
