Free Eagle filly who was outpaced when 15L eighth in 6f Thirsk maiden last month. Needs to improve significantly from that performance to be competitive.
Showed little impression when seventh of 12 on debut at Kempton (6f, standard to slow) in June. A bit to find off the back of a break but strong connections did win this with a second-time out improver in 2017. Place claims.
Didn't progress as hoped when 2L fourth on second start at Chester (6f, good) in July. However there's still likely improvement and represents a yard who are in flying form lately. Leading player.
Lethal Force filly out of a dam who was a multiple winner over 6f and is a half-sister to the classy The Tin Man. Notable if market support on debut but yard's form with newcomers is a concern.
Took another leap forward from debut appearance when second of 7 in minor event at Pontefract (6f, good) in July. Was comprehensively beaten that day but no reason to suggest why she cannot progress again.
Ran well despite a slow start costing her chance when 5L sixth in 6f Newmarket maiden last time out. A likely improver on her second start and can't be discounted.
Four-race maiden. Didn't back up narrow defeat at Musselburgh on her penultimate start when well-beaten third of five at Chester (5f, good to soft). Looking slightly exposed now and maybe one for nurseries.
Forecasts
Cindy Bear (11/4), Feelinlikeasomeone (3/1), Led Astray (4/1), Heavens Open (9/2), Ventura Flame (13/2), Final Option (14/1), Azure World (40/1)
Trainer Mark Johnston has been in fine form recently and boasts an impressive record with juveniles at this venue (2-6) this season and is represented by FEELINLIKEASOMEONE, who can be forgiven for her moderate run last time out when she encountered some trouble in running to take what looks to be a good opportunity to get off the mark. Heavens Open was no match for an impressive winner last time out but should be more streetwise for this contest, especially if she is ridden handily, while Ventura Flame has been running well in this grade without winning and it could be the same case again here.
