Landed 6f h'cap on seasonal return at Pontefract in April and has finished runner-up last two starts at both 6f and 7f. Raised 1lb after good effort at Doncaster latest over this trip and should be thereabouts once again.
Dual winner last term scoring at both 6f and 7f. Showed little in handicaps first two runs this campaign and subsequently gelded. Not disgraced when third of five at Yarmouth last time off this mark but may find one or two too good here.
Solid efforts last four starts in handicaps and has his first run back since being gelded. Fourth at York last month off this mark and may still be just about in handicapper's grip.
Only win in 11 outings came in Doncaster 7f maiden last October. Placed 3-5 so far this term but appeared not to stay when upped to a mile at Goodwood last time. Drop back makes sense and 1lb lower mark helps the cause.
First-time cheekpieces applied having disappointed last time over C&D when favourite for similar contest. Previously won well enough over C&D off 3lb lower mark so has claims if headgear focuses his mind.
Wolverhampton 5f novice stakes winner last September. Stayed on when fifth in 6f handicap here last time and has been gelded since. 1lb lower and extra furlong may bring about some improvement.
