The only winner in this field, with her being a comfortable enough scorer in this company at York (6f; soft) a few starts ago. Set stiff tasks the last twice and should appreciate having her sights lowered. Huge player.

Showed marked improvement upon previous efforts when third in a seller at Ripon (6f; good) recently. Should remain competitive in this grade once again, and be bang there at the finish if taking to the surface.

Winless in six starts, and didn't really fire on handicap debut on her latest outing. Hard to get enthusiastic about, and seems vulnerable to improvers. Others look better treated at the weights.

Failed to beat a single rival on each of her two starts. Now makes AW debut, but is virtually impossible to fancy on what she has shown so far. Best watched.

Showed minor promise on debut at Newbury (7f; good to firm) last week until fading inside the final furlong. This is easier, but she would still need to show a bit more to be considered a serious contender.

Never threatened on handicap debut in a nursery at Lingfield (7f; good to firm) last week and she has been beaten quite a fair way on each of her last two starts. Makes AW debut.

10/11
Ran below market expectations (sent off 9-4) on her latest outing at Ripon (6f; good to firm) when fifth of seven. Now 0-6, but does have arguably the strongest form on offer and shouldn't be completely written off.

Steps up in trip after finishing tailed off on debut at Ripon (5f; good). Would need to step up significantly to play a part on the basis of that effort, and she can't be fancied.

Forecasts

My Motivate Girl (10/11), Amnaa (11/4), Leave Em Alone (11/2), Hiconic (16/1), Beautrix (16/1), Birkie Queen (18/1), Petite Steps (66/1), Helluvasunset (80/1)

Verdict

One of a number of competitive contests on the card, with the 1-2-3 hard to split. She posted a below-par effort when last seen, but the overall strength of the form My Motivate Girl has to her name would entitle her to have a major chance as she is dropped significantly in class. Beautrix showed much more when running in a seller for the first time when last seen, and should have a lot more to offer at this level, but she may find it hard to beat the only winner in the field in the shape of AMNAA who finished well ahead of her when scoring in this grade at York and can shoulder the 5lb penalty with the minimum of fuss.
  1. Amnaa
  2. My Motivate Girl
  3. Beautrix
