Four wins over the larger obstacles to her name including a couple of successes in May but is approached with caution given the yards runners have failed to hit the frame in seven starts in this contest in the last eight years.
Winner of five of his 21 starts over fences with his most recent success coming in May off a 8lb lower mark. Could be up against it for a yard with not the greatest record in this race.
C&D winner of a beginner chase at this festival 12 months ago. That win remains his only success in six starts over fences. Has failed to complete in his last three races and has not been seen since December. Market likely to be best guide.
Distance winner of four of his 12 starts over the larger obstacles. One of four in the race for a stable who have a disappointing return in this event since 2012.
Sending out a number of mixed messages in a number of starts since returning to action in May. Not ruled out but a number of below par efforts to shake off.
C&D winner of a beginners chase at this festival two years ago on his only run over the combination. Beaten favourite when a gallant second of 12 in the Midlands national at Kilbeggan last month and one to note in first time cheekpieces.
Struggle off a revised mark since winning at Roscommon in June. Stable have struggled in this contest recently including Top Of The Town and Thunder And Roses failing to trouble the judge 12 months ago.
Failed to build upon promising effort when third in the Killarney National with a couple of below par efforts at Ballinrobe and Kilbeggan last month. Handicap mark continues to fall but hard to be confident at present. First time blinkers fitted.
Has failed to complete in four of his last five starts over the larger obstacles but managed a shock win at Navan in March off a 5lb lower mark. Unlikely to make a significant impact on return to the track in this contest.
Completely out of sorts in the last 12 months since a gallant third of 20 beaten 1½L behind Snugsborough Benny in this contest on yielding to soft ground. Looks a tall order.
Winner of one of his seven starts over fences and recently won his fourth hurdle at Bellewstown last month. Behind Cecil Corbett at Roscommon in June but capable of reversing that form here.
Took the Galileo gelding four starts to get of the mark for connections over the larger obstacles at Clomel in June before following up with a 1½L success at Roscommon last month. Progressing rapidly from race to race and looks set for a bold bid.
Comes here on a hat-tick of wins following a double at Limerick and Tipperary last month. Beat Holly Flight ½L off revised mark on latest start and may struggle here under another penalty.
Winner of two of his 23 starts over fences the Vinnie Roe gelding is a dual winner over C&D of a similar contest here in October. One of four in the race for leading owner and a market check is advised.
Two from four over the larger obstacles winning his latest starts at Wexford in June and a 7L win at Perth last month. Racing 18lb higher than first win the gelding may find one or two better handicapped sorts lurking.
On a long losing run but nearly pulled off a win at odds of 50/1 in a Limerick handicap chase over 2m6f last month when headed at the last and dropping to third on the line. Not getting any younger.
