Placed in a couple of handicap hurdles in April but struggled since including when 29L third on chase return at Perth (2m4f, good) just under a month ago.
Successful on this card two years ago and was the winner of a handicap chase over an extended 1m7f at Hexham (good) in May. Disappointed on only subsequent start but interesting off a mark 1lb higher than for that Hexham success.
Dual point-to-point winner but 0/13 under Rules most recently when 13½L fifth in a handicap chase over an extended 2m at Worcester (good-to-soft) earlier this week. Cheekpieces tried for the first time.
Placed on three of his last four starts including when 16L second at Uttoxeter (2m, good) last time out. Races off a 2lb lower mark on this occasion and looks likely to run well once more.
Pulled up over 2m5f at Cartmel (good) at the end of June. Cheekpieces and tongue tie (first time) worn that day are both absent on debut for a new yard.

Forecasts
Malangen (7/4), Salto Chisco (11/4), Starlight Court (7/2), Burning Issues (6/1), Civil Unrest (6/1), Mullinavat (20/1), Lord De La Mine (20/1)
The veteran CIVIL UNREST can put a disappointing latest effort behind him to register a victory in this small field handicap chase. Malangen, one of two four-year-old's in the field can claim second for the third consecutive time while the other youngster Lord De La Mine, who receives weight from all of his rivals can finish third.
