Most of these are of little account but CLEARANCE is interesting having shown ability on his hurdles debut at Newbury in a much better race. He's won twice on the Flat since and can prove too good for his rivals here. Capitoul could be the main danger having been a fair chaser in his time. He has form over hurdles and is respected. Doubly Clever won a Uttoxeter seller two starts back then finished second here over a quarter mile further last time. He has a chance, but his cause isn't helped by the concession of 6lb to the aforementioned pair.
