Well-related Daughter of New Approach, promising second at Salisbury (1m2f, good to firm) on second start in May. Stopped rather quickly since at Goodwood over same trip (good to soft) having gone off favourite but more to give now.
$550,000 daughter of Scat Daddy finally got off the mark at Yarmouth latest and won with plenty in hand. Third off this mark in a handicap the time before at Chelmsford and with confidence now boosted she has leading claims.
Seemingly hard to train with big gaps in her record, but runner-up at Chelmsford in November and would have got up in another stride. Third after another break at Newbury latest positive but record suggests she's best caught fresh.
Dual winner as a juvenile and although starting this campaign with couple of fair efforts, last three runs have been harder to excuse and needs to bounce back, though several from this yard can do so.
Still searching for her first win (0-6) but has been second three times and ran to a similar level latest when fourth at Doncaster. One paced sort may appreciate an extra 1f today and ought to again be in the shake-up.
Placed in three of her five AW starts but pulled up after proving extremely unruly in only previous turf run at Ascot. Plenty of reasons to look elsewhere for answers.
Three-time winner but yet to make the frame in four turf races and latest non-descript performance at Newbury further cause for turf concerns even in a first-time hood.
Still a maiden after 18 races. Did finish third on the AW at Kempton (1m3f) earlier in the season but her form on turf has been poor. Makes no appeal here.
Windsor third latest was just about a career-best effort but this looks as tough if not more so and making the frame again may require further improvement.
Forecasts
New Jazz (7/4), Miss Blondell (9/2), Nooshin (5/1), Norma (6/1), Cabarita (7/1), Mrs Meader (9/1), Prairie Spy (20/1), First Link (33/1), Woggle (33/1)
This looks a decent opportunity for NEW JAZZ to follow up her win at Yarmouth with doubts about all of her rivals. Perhaps the most intriguing runner is Norma whose earlier effort at Salisbury was promising before a flop last time; she is seriously unexposed. After a string of good efforts surely Nooshin's time will soon come, she should again give a solid account.
