Rewarded favourite backers with a 9l win at Market Rasen 11 days ago and the 6lb higher mark looks fair; the gelding has gone well at this course before now and should have no issues with the ground. Well worth considering again.

Hasn't won for a while and is attractively weighted as a result. Back over fences after a modest display on the hurdles course here earlier in the month and has a bit to prove on balance.

Showed a good attitude to win at Cartmel back in May but fell next time out and his jumping went to pot when he returned to race in the Lake District latest. Never won from a mark this high and needs to jump with more purpose than last time.

Won a tactical little race at Ffos Las 13 days ago (at odds of 16/1) and should strip a lot fitter with that seasonal debut behind her; only 3lb more to shoulder and is unlikely to be underestimated in the betting this time.

Still a maiden and form has been mixed since being sent over fences; the drop in trip might help but he's too inconsistent to merit a recommendation for anything other than a quick betting check.

Verdict

This can go the way of LITTLE STEVIE, who arrives in much better form than any of his rivals and is certainly in the minority in that he's still attractively weighted despite a 6lb higher mark for a 9l success (under the same jockey) last time out. Zolfo is in need of a confidence boosting round of jumping but has more natural ability than Lovely Schtuff and can pose a threat to the selection if he shows more spirit this time. Prettylittlething won a three-runner race on her first start of the campaign and will also cause a few problems if she can use that as a platform in this stiffer company.
