Not without ability on the Flat (rated in the 80s) and although his two hurdling efforts so far have been less than convincing, he may well do better yet. Not ruled out in a weakish event.
Rated just 86 and has done very little in recent starts to suggest he'll be anything other than a bit player here.
Going nowhere quickly at present, although his effort at Ayr at the turn of the year wasn't without some promise. However, well beaten in moderate handicaps lately, and hard to make much of a case for.
Placed in a couple of bumpers and showed plenty of ability when travelling well and running on at the one pace to finish runner up at Ffos Las last time. Makes hurdling debut here but has a solid chance if taking to the task in hand.
Lightly raced for a 10yo but there's very little in his form to suggest he's going to be up to threatening the principals here.
Last of 20 on debut at Down Royal in May and will need to leave that form well behind here. Makes little appeal.
Point-to-point winner back in 2017 but beaten out of sight in a Ayr bumper in March and hard to see where the necessary improvement is coming from. Not easily fancied.
No win in seven starts but has shown ability and she should improve a little for going back up in trip today. Yard get plenty of winners here and she should be one of the main players tonight.
Wasn't up to a lot on the Flat and on early showings over hurdles, she's going to do well to find a race she can win. Gets plenty of weight but unlikely to be making it 13th time lucky here.
Forecasts
Heavey (13/8), Kashmir Wilde (7/4), Desert Point (7/2), Golden Drumlee (9/1), John Mor (16/1), Miraculum (33/1), Space Safari (50/1), Elixer (66/1), Magheralagan (66/1)
Not many to concentrate on. Gordon Elliot is always to be respected here and on that alone, Kashmir Wilde holds chances in this weak event, but if HEAVEY can translate his bumper form to hurdles he might be the one to beat. Desert Point looks the best of the rest.
- Heavey
- Kashmir Wilde
- Desert Point
