Has been thereabouts this year without winning and becoming well-handicapped. Not at his best last time out and yet to win away from Ripon but not without each-way claims.
Hasn't won since 2017 and while he ran okay at Newbury two runs back, he failed to build on that at Windsor when well beaten last time; plenty to prove at present.
Just one win from her six starts. Has been ticking over in three runs this year but doesn't give the impression she's nearing a return to the winners' enclosure and this is a tougher race than some she's been contesting.
Won a novice event at Ayr as a juvenile and has filled the runner-up spot on all four runs this season. Up 2lb for the latest start but gives the impression it won't be long until he gains another win; versatile with regards ground.
Showed promise in maidens and won on handicap debut at Newbury two runs back. Only narrowly denied from his revised handicap mark next time out and while he's up another 6lb for that, he's only going one way at present.
A winner on AW back in February but he's really struggled in two starts since wind surgery. Has a bit to prove at present.
Won three times last year but all of those wins came over further than this and he's been out of form in starts on the Flat and over hurdles of late. Others make more appeal.
Made it two wins from eight starts at Redcar last month and left with a bit too much to do at Sandown last time out. Dropped 1lb and could have more to give at this longer trip.

KIEFER has really benefited from the switch to handicaps and would have won last time out given another couple of yards. The three-year-old colt could be hard to beat with more progress on the cards against more exposed rivals. Cubswin is feasibly handicapped on her return to the Flat while Lariat could be hard to keep out of the places after another solid effort last time out.
