C&D winner. Losing run is really mounting up now, going back all the way to 2017. Didn't show any signs of a revival last time out at Sandown and while he has a talented amateur in the saddle, he's hard to fancy.

Dual course winner. Losing run goes back to May 2017 but he's been going close in recent starts, particularly last time when awarded second due to the second receiving a DQ. That looked a decent race and won't mind the step up in trip here.

Arrives here bidding for a hat-trick having won twice at Epsom already this month. Still below his highest winning mark and expected to run well again having won in good fashion last time out.

Has only won twice since 2016 and well beaten on his first run since wind surgery at Pontefract last time out. Becoming well-handicapped but needs to leave recent form behind.

Has won twice this season but the handicapper has slowed the progress on recent evidence. Yard in form and a career best not out of the question having run well at Chester last time.

Hasn't won on turf since 2015 and slow to break here last time out. Often compromises his chance with tardy stalls exit and probably better over further than this these days.

Won a race in France but has been struggling in four UK starts. First-time cheekpieces made no difference last time and they are retained again here; likely outsider.

Has really found his form again since joining this yard, winning two of his last three starts. Has won from higher handicap marks in the past and can't be ruled out in current form; versatile regards ground.

Forecasts

Shady Mccoy (2/1), Normandy Barriere (4/1), Redarna (5/1), Lyndon B (5/1), Fieldsman (13/2), Big Storm Coming (7/1), Frankelio (8/1), Ower Fly (16/1), Mister Music (16/1)

Verdict

FIELDSMAN has really found his form again since joining this yard and the seven-year-old still looks feasibly handicapped on his best form. Normandy Barriere is another well-handicapped sort who ran well last time out while Redarna has solid place claims after a decent run at Chester last time. However, the biggest threat to the selection could be Big Storm Coming in his bid for a hat-trick.
  1. Fieldsman
  2. Big Storm Coming
  3. Normandy Barriere
