Horse A-Z
Maiden hurdler who has seven bumper defeats to her name but made progression on her last outing at Roscommon earlier this month finishing second of 11 beaten 1L. More to come from inform yard.
Daughter of Stowaway out of a winning hurdler, no threat in four bumpers so far well beaten over 14L on each start and probably best watched for now.

By Vinnie Roe out of a Darazani mare. Brother to bumper/2m hurdle winner Pateen. Last but one in a six runner Killarney bumper earlier this month well beaten 32L. Hard to rule out on second start.
Daughter of Fame And Glory out of a Fourstars Allstar mare. Closely related to bumper/hurdle winner between 2m½f and 2m4f Jackson Cage. Unlikely to be making any significant impact on racecourse debut.
Failed to finish in two of her three starts point-to-points and is probably best watched with a tongue tie tried for the first time on Rules debut.
Daughter of Stowaway out of a Rudimentary mare. Very modest form in a number of point-to-point starts since October. Market likely to be the best guide on racecourse debut.
Daughter of Mahler out of a Flemensfirth mare. Half-sister to modest hurdler The Conker Club who developed in to a decent chaser. Looked too keen on debut over C&D last month before weakening approaching the final furlong.

Daughter of Doyen out of a Presenting mare. Closely related to bumper/hurdle and chase winner between 2m and 2m4f Sister Sibyl. Dam, four race bumper maiden. Likely to come on for debut run here.

Horse silk
16/1
Cost €10,000 as a yearling. Dam was a winner over 2m2f over hurdles and is a half-sister to smart hurdler What A Question. Beaten over 30L on both bumper starts to date. Probably best watched in this contest.
Daughter of Presenting out of a Kayf Tara mare. Progressed from first to second start over C&D last month finishing third of 14 on good ground. Entitled to have designs on prize money in this company.
Daughter of Lilbourne Lad out of a Bluebird mare. Closely related to dual hurdle winner at 2m The Plan Man. Best watched on debut for Co Wexford yard without a bumper winner in five years.

Forecasts

Blue Heather (11/8), Conquering Tara (6/4), Love The Melody (8/1), The Girl That Sang (16/1), Our Majella (20/1), Euro Dot Com (25/1), It Takes Time (33/1), Docking (33/1), Lady Violet (33/1), Hit The Hay (33/1), Coosan Bluebell (33/1)

Verdict

Daughter of Doyen BLUE HEATHER holds a clear and obvious chance in the closing race of the day following a number of solid and consistent bumper efforts since May. The five-year-old can hold off the potential challenge of C&D third of 14 last month, Conquering Tara and the Peter Fahy-trained Docking.
  1. Blue Heather
  2. Conquering Tara
  3. Docking
