Olden Times gelding, fell on latest start earlier this month. Sent off at big prices on both hurdle starts to date and unlikely to be making a significant impact in this contest.
His second of 16 at Naas over a similar trip in December is looking a bit of a one off as the Presenting gelding has posted a number of dismal efforts either side of the race. No surprise to see an improved performance here.
Two-race maiden hurdler, unseating rider and seventh of 18 beaten 36L. Makes little appeal based on what the Mahler gelding has shown for current connections so far.
Pulled-up on sole point-to-point start nearly two years ago before reappearing earlier this month to finish an encouraging fourth of 18 beaten 23L in a Cork maiden hurdle over a similar trip. Market likely to be the best guide here.
Asian Heights gelding who is making his debut today. His dam raced at 3m throughout her point-to-point career without victory. Well held and never nearer 15th of 18 on hurdling debut at Cork earlier this month and unlikely to be troubling the judge.
Gelding by Arakan out of a Supreme Leader mare. Nothing of note in a couple of maiden hurdle starts when last seen in May and improvement needed if he is to take a part in this event.
Gelding by Yeats out of a Shadari mare. Failed to complete in three point-to-point starts before posting a couple of innocuous efforts over hurdles since last month. Not in the form required to play a part.
Has shown plenty of promise in a number of her four career bumper starts to date and recent efforts suggest plenty of improvement on hurdling debut and is approached with a great deal of respect.
Eight-race maiden, not disgraced in a number of starts over hurdles since May but the beaten distances are a concern. Looking no nearer to breakthrough success.
Plenty to like about the daughter of Scorpion's second of 12 beaten 3L in a Bellewstown maiden hurdle over 2m4f earlier this month. One of the more intriguing contenders and drop in trip may suit.
Beaten and well held when falling two out on maiden hurdle debut before finishing fourth of 12 over 3m in a couple of career starts at this venue. Possibly best watched taking another drop in trip unless market vibes suggest otherwise.
Pulled up on debut in a bumper here earlier in the month before finishing well down the field when beaten 39L on hurdling debut over 2m4f at Kilbeggan on Friday. Good chance handicaps will be more suitable in future.
Well held in a couple of bumpers before a couple of encouraging maiden hurdle efforts here and on latest start at Kilbeggan earlier this month. Positives outweigh the negatives in this contest and can give a good account of herself.
Daughter of Scorpion. Half-sister to 2m4f chase/3m hurdle winner Market's Field. Will need to improve on disappointing debut in a Killarney bumper earlier this month finishing sixth of eight beaten 17L.

Bold Gesture for the leading trainer/jockey combination of Gordon Elliott and Davy Russell is possibly better than the majority of efforts suggests but his style of running - possibly pulling himself to the front here - and his habit of racing keenly may open the door for the Mags Mullins-trained COTTON END. The daughter of Scorpion can get off the mark at the third time of asking over hurdles following a fine second and a change of tactics last time out at Bellewstown. Potential improver Inspired Choice and the Henry De Bromhead-trained Boro Tari are others to consider.
