Five wins on the Flat have been at 1m including two this summer. Slow starts have become the norm of late and now switches to hurdles for a yard in good form.
Chester winner on Flat last year over 1m5f. Similar efforts in three runs over hurdles, making the running in the first two of them. Should be up to winning a little race such as this.
Three Point-to-point wins in Ireland. Some promise over hurdles in two goes here but drop down from 2m4f last time a concern and cheekpieces now go on.
Seemed to be a weak finisher on occasions but type to have benefitted from wind operation since leaving David O'Meara and new connections have found a very weak contest so must be respected.

Good Time Ahead (11/10), Ballard Down (2/1), Highland Bobby (3/1), Perpignan (16/1), Meagher's Flag (16/1)
A weak contest with runners arriving from different codes and if the wind operation helps him see the race out, this could be the day HIGHLAND BOBBY gets his head in front over hurdles. Ballard Down is of some interest now hurdling and is preferred to Good Time Ahead for the runner up position.
