Useful over hurdles and kept fit on the Flat of late he made an impressive and successful chasing debut over 4f shorter at Ffos Las. Jumped well and with enthusiasm winning easily; now penalised he looks sure to make a better chaser than hurdler.
From a stable in cracking form at the moment (four-timer at Market Rasen on Saturday) this fairly useful hurdles winner shaped well on his chasing debut against some useful rivals. Could well put the weight he receives here to good advantage.
Improving sort over hurdles who rattled off a hat-trick early last year but hasn't quite gone on from there and now switched to fences for the first time. Lacks the experience of the other pair but measure up well against them on hurdles ratings.
Forecasts
Le Musee (5/6), Kings Ryde (9/4), Ready And Able (7/2)
Despite just a trio going to post this is still a good race and a tricky puzzle to solve with the recent Ffos Las winner Le Musee having to concede a 6lb penalty to the other two runners and that may just prove his undoing. Nicky Henderson can do very little wrong at the moment and the 6lb his KINGS RYDE receives from Le Musee may just tip the scales in his direction with his second at Stratford last time reading well in the context of this race. Ready And Able was the equal of his two rivals over hurdles but he does lack the experience that the other pair have and that may just hold him back on this occasion.
- Kings Ryde
- Le Musee
- Ready And Able
