Gelding by Arakan out of a Idris mare. Dam was a 110-rated chaser compared to 115-rated hurdler. Market likely to reveal expectations on debut.
Gold Well gelding, half-brother to bumper/hurdle winner Curley Bill. Took closer order four out before eventually keeping on at one pace to finish eighth of 18 in a Punchestown bumper on debut last month. Can be expected to show improvement.
No show in a couple of maiden hurdle before switching, unsuccessfully to bumpers when last seen in December 2017. Trainer has been patient with the Flemensfirth gelding and could be worth a check in the market on return.
Has appeared to be of limited ability in a couple of bumper starts last summer including a 120L defeat at Kilbeggan. Shouldn't really be of interest but has to be respected given connections and notable jockey booking.
Well behind in a couple of career bumper starts to date both coming 12 month s ago at Sligo and Limerick. Hard to fancy on overall evidence and others hold sturdier claims in this event.
By Doyen out of a Flying Legend mare. Dam unraced half-sister to bumper winner Concience. Seems to be improving from race to race and has the assistance of respected pilot in this contest.
Finished last out of those who completed on rules debut in a Southwell bumper in April. Half-sister to fairly useful Stowaway Magic who won a bumper over this trip, but marked improvement is required in first-time tongue tie.
Daughter of Flemensfirth who has appeared to struggle a little in a couple of point-to-point starts and on hurdle debut at Cork earlier this month. Difficult to see where improvement is coming from.
Well held at big prices in two career bumper starts to date at Punchestown and Cork. First-time tongue tie fitted but needs a vast improvement to be involved at the business end of proceedings.
Useful in the point-to-point ranks but failed to transfer that form in novice hurdle company when last seen in May. Needs a good number of opponents to run below-par to have a chance in this.
Daughter of Excellent Art out of a Woodman mare. Last of eight, tailed off 122L on bumper debut at the recent Bellewstown meeting earlier this month. Impossible to make a case for the mare.

ABOVE THE CITY can land the closing race of the evening under jockey Patrick Mullins.
