Winner on seasonal debut of a Tramore handicap hurdle over 2m5f off a 6lb higher mark. Beaten since on his revised mark but capable of giving a good account of himself once again in this contest.

Distance winner finished second of 13 beaten 1L on his latest start in a Roscommon handicap hurdle over 3m1f earlier this month on good ground. A repeat of that run will have the gelding in the hunt for more prize money here.

The veterans win at this meeting three years ago remains the geldings only win in 12 starts over hurdles. Will need to find plenty if he is to play a role in the finish here.

Sole win in 22 starts came in a bumper back in 2016 and the Beneficial mare is still looking for a breakthrough win in 14 hurdle starts to date. Generally well held in a couple of starts since last month and others look more convincing on the card.

Nine-race maiden over hurdles the daughter of Flemensfirth made no impression when finishing seventh of 16 beaten 54L at the Bellewstown meeting earlier this month. Can go well in this company with worrying the main protagonists.

Mr Dinos gelding missed the whole of 2018. Weakened quickly over three out on return to action in a Tipperary handicap hurdle over 3m earlier this month. Others hold stronger claims.

10/3
11-race maiden over hurdles who has been running with great credit in a couple of starts this term here over 3m1f in May and when finishing second of 17 at Tipperary earlier this month. Leading player with notable jockey booking.

Well beaten and no impression in four hurdle starts today including when pulled up on latest start in a Kilbeggan handicap over 3m1f last month. Plenty to prove at present.

Eight-race maiden over hurdles who suffered a number of heavy defeats when last seen two years ago in the care of trainer Peter McCreery. Not a great deal to be expected on return to action in this contest.

Daughter of Famous Name still looking for her first win in seven career starts over hurdles. Well held in a couple of starts since last month but hard to completely dismiss given the form of the yard.

20/1
25-race maiden without a win in 16 starts over hurdles. The gelding has failed to build on a promising fourth of 18 at Tipperary in May being well beaten in a couple of starts at Roscommon. More sparkle needed before any faith is placed in him.

10/1
16-race maiden who is still looking for first win over hurdles in 15 starts, well held on return to action at Sligo earlier this month. Entering the veteran stages of his career now and difficult to see where the improvement is coming from.

Point-to-point winner but yet to show anything in five starts over hurdles. Sent off at big prices on her most recent starts running accordingly in the process and unlikely to be making her presence felt in this company.

32-race maiden still searching for her first hurdle win in 30 starts. Posted her best effort for sometime when finishing fourth of 19 beaten 3¼L in a Cork handicap hurdle over 2m4f earlier this month. More needed and hard to fancy.

Sole win in 26 starts over hurdles came over C&D in a heavy ground handicap in May 2018 off a similar mark. Beaten on all five starts on good ground previously and looks up against it here.

Well held on all five hurdle starts to date including a 35L reversal on handicap debut at Cork earlier this month. Sports first-time cheekpieces here and little sign of any light at the end of the tunnel just yet.

Verdict

The Gavin Cromwell pair Ainmisfearr and ALLDUCKORNODINNER can both give a good account of themselves with preference for the latter. The Robin Des Pres gelding can add to his win at Tramore in May with his revised mark equaled by the claim of the adept Conor McNamara. The booking of Davy Russell on the John Brassil-trained Tungsten Kid could prove decisive in this contest as the seven-year-old emerges as the biggest danger. Roscommon second earlier this month Pump Road can pick up prize money.
