Remains below his last winning mark having built on his reappearance run last time at Ffos Las (2m4f, good). Did have the run of the race (only beaten last strides); has the assistance of the champion jockey this time; one for the shake-up.
Yet to break her maiden (0-17) but did run with credit over C&D last time despite being ultimately well beaten by a well-handicapped/on-a-roll sort. Suited by the way the race was run (came from off strong pace); likely to find a couple too good.
Modest enough form when with Charlie Longsdon he's shown even less since his transfer to this yard off a break over the summer. Mark still looks far too high and he can only be watched given his current form or lack of it.
Looked the sort who would benefit from a change of yard; well-backed on his first start for this stable (unsuited by the trip; 2m4f). Finished well held on two further runs (both at 2m) he remains one with questions to answer; unproven beyond 2m.
Little form when trained in Ireland but both outings for this yard (won this race last year) have shown a little more promise. Runner-up over C&D on stable debut (arguably should have won), ran with credit last time, more of the same expected.
Had looked hopelessly out of form prior to wind surgery but has gradually worked his way back to some sort form; runner-up last two starts. Flattered on both occasions though and this looks a competitive heat for the grade.
Not unusually benefitted from a move to this yard proving to be as well-in as the market suggested at Stratford last time (2m3f, good). Avoids a penalty for that win; therefore, runs off the same mark here, senior rider takes over; hard to beat.
Well beaten and shown little promise in varied events including over hurdles (0-4). Pulled-up on her handicap debut when 50-1 behind Black Anthem at Stratford last time; hard to see her reversing the form.
Poor handicap hurdler nowadays with a losing run that continues to mount even after a wind op. May have needed the run last time but hard to make excuses for him now; headgear (cheekpieces) returns; runs from 6lb out of the weights.

Forecasts
Black Anthem (4/5), For Jim (11/4), Bracka Lily (7/2), Champagne Chaser (6/1), Kildaven Spider (13/2), Racing Spirit (14/1), Grand Enterprise (16/1), Perseid (16/1), Kennedys Field (22/1), Some Ambition (100/1), Leannes Lady (100/1)
Quite a few of these are having trouble winning races and their waits may go on a little bit longer with an a well -handicapped type in the shape of BLACK ANTHEM standing in their way. He appears rejuvenated for the Dr Richard Newland yard and goes unpenalised for his Stratford win in a conditionals race on his first start for his new yard. For Jim can count himself rather unlucky to run into the market leader here as he’s in good form himself at a venue that should suit him well. Champagne Chaser and Bracka Lily deserve to win an event like this but face a difficult task this time around and a place looks the best that either can muster.
