Had some success over hurdles in the early stages of his career. Since then he has had four attempts over fences, with his latest effort coming at Limerick (2m2f) where he was brought down at the fifth fence. Capable of more. One to watch.
Still looking for his first win over fences but he has gone close a couple of times this season. He was fourth of eight on his last appearance at Naas (2m4f) where his jumping let him down a little. Back up in trip here. One to consider.
Returned to winning ways at Killarney (2m5f) back in May. Almost followed that up on her next start at Tramore (2m5½f) when second of seven but since then she has been a little below her best. Stepping up in trip today. Each-way chance.
Made a successful return to chasing last time at Limerick (3m) where he stayed on strongly in the closing stages to score by 1L. Has gone up 7lb for that win but he has been in good form. Leading player.
Broke her maiden over fences last time at Kilbeggan (3m1f) where she stayed on strongly after the last obstacle. Up 5lb for that success, while she is taking a slight step down in trip here. One to respect despite rise in weights.
Scored at Tramore (2m6f) back in May but has gone off the boil since then as his jumping has let him down. Was eighth of 11 last time out at Wexford (2m4f) where he was 41L behind the winner. Needs to bounce back.
Showed some promise on his opening start over fences when second of six at Limerick (2m3½f) but then struggled at Wexford (2m4f) as he could only finish fourth of five. Blinkers on for first time. Needs to bounce back.
Still searching for his first success over fences after 10 starts. Has really struggled this season, including latest when seventh of 11 at Wexford (2m4f). Down 3lb to a new low career mark and cheekpieces on for first time. Hard to fancy though.
Was successful over hurdles back in October but has been unable to follow that up since then. Remains a maiden over fences after eight starts. Could only finish sixth of 16 last time in a handicap chase at Limerick (3m½f). Others preferred.
Has shown very little in his two chase starts so far, including latest at Downpatrick where he was last of 11 runners. Making his handicap debut today where he is rated 11lb lower than his hurdles mark. Blinkers on for first time. Commands respect.
Won for the first time over fences back in October at Thurles (2m7½f) but he has been unable to follow it up since then. Now off a 2lb lower mark than his last success. One to watch.

Ocean Glandore (7/2), Steelambition (6/1), Holly Flight (7/1), Blottos (7/1), Ballybrowney Jack (7/1), Don't Let Go (8/1), The Ballyboys (8/1), Toosey (10/1), Tiantu (12/1), Penance (16/1), Loch Luatha (20/1), Sanibel Island (25/1)
OCEAN GLANDORE has been successful twice in his last three starts so he goes into this race in great form. He has gone up 7lb for his victory on his return to chasing last time but he may be able to defy that here over this slightly shorter trip. Ballybrowney Jack is experienced over fences now and should improve for this step up in trip., while Toosey is far better over fences and will go close off a 9lb higher mark than his chase success at Wexford.
- Ocean Glandore
- Ballybrowney Jack
- Toosey
