Impressed when making a winning debut in an AW bumper at Lingfield in march 2018 and then tailed off in Grade 2 company at Aintree. Long absence to overcome and win was won in a slow time. Market likely the best guide.
Hung quite badly when coming under pressure after making the running on May's Ludlow debut. Hood goes on but plenty of improvement needed to be involved.
Changed hands for £16,000 following a couple of placed efforts on the point=to-point scene. Bred to need a stiffer test in time and best watched on Rules debut.
Midnight Legend gelding, cost £16,000 as a three-year-old. Beat one home in a six runner contest over this C&D on debut but still raced with promise for a long way. Could improve for the run and a likely challenger.
Stable quiet with their bumper runners but overall have been profitable to follow in recent years. Interesting pedigree being a first foal to an unraced mare who is a sister to Ollie Magern, Billie Magern and Petite Margot. Interesting on debut.
Forecasts
Hit The Bottle (11/10), Dazibao (9/4), Lermoos Legend (4/1), Staar (12/1), George Edward (16/1)
HIT THE BOTTLE catches the eye on breeding and this represents a realistic opening for a stable well capable of readying a newcomer in this sphere. Lermoos Legend was challenging for a long way on debut and should be stronger for the run. Dazibao is hard to weigh up following a lengthy absence but clearly has ability based on his debut win and a move in the betting would be interesting.
- Hit The Bottle
- Lermoos Legend
- Dazibao
