4/6
Has returned in flying and improved form in rattling up a hat-trick. Defied a double penalty at Hexham and did so unchallenged. Has to give weight away once again but hard to doubt his chances in this current mood.

7/4
Off the mark on his second hurdles start, winning by 5L at Bangor and improved again with a narrow second over this C&D. Not far off that when fourth at Worcester last time and likely to be involved again in this form.

Age: 5|  Weight: 10-12| J: James Davies| T: Mrs N S Evans| OR:  82
50/1
Of little account on the Flat (rated 51 at best) and tailed off in all three hurdles starts so far, including on reappearance. Easy to dismiss once again.

50/1
Fair sort on the Flat, though only yielded a maiden success from 16 starts. Sent off 200/1 and 150/1 in two hurdle starts to date finishing tailed off and then falling two out when behind over this C&D last month. Hard to fancy.

Mix Of Clover18

Unseated his rider early on hurdles debut at Ludlow in December and well held in both starts this year. Hard to make a case for.

10/1
Largely moderate on the Flat in winning two from 18 and hadn't been looking like scoring in two runs in May. Best watched on hurdling debut.
7
Horse silk
7/1
Ran twice in bumpers (for Fergal O'Brien); reappeared after a year off in Irish PTP's (0-4), when regularly let down by her jumping. Struggled on hurdling and stable debut and improvement required.
8
Horse silk
100/1
Sent off at 250/1 and 100/1 in two hurdle runs so far, both coming over this C&D. Tailed off both times and hard to envisage her making the required improvement.
9
Horse silk
66/1
Raced on the Flat in Jersey since leaving Brian Meehan for whom she won a Bath maiden before taking a Les Landes handicap last year over 1m. Sent off 100/1 and hard to take anything from her recent hurdling debut over this C&D.

Forecasts

Some Day Soon (4/6), Ruthless Article (7/4), Aweeminit (7/1), Prancing Oscar (10/1), Mix Of Clover (12/1), Almontaser (50/1), Epsom Day (50/1), Princess Kodia (66/1), Kims Diamond (100/1)

Verdict

There's only really two to concentrate on in a field full of disappointing types. That gives SOME DAY SOON every chance of completing a four-timer despite the penalties and he continues to be well placed. Ruthless Article is likewise going well and proving progressive and he should be a live danger. Aweeminit is with a top stable and is the one of the remainder who could improve significantly.
