2-3 over fences this term, adopting positive tactics at Hexham (1m7½f, good; 6-4f) four weeks ago and never seeing a rival before coming home with 12L in hand. More on his plate now but will try and repeat the dose.
Once smart on the Flat, 4-16 over hurdles, now really taking to chasing as he bids for quick-fire hat-trick. Had plenty in hand over 2m5f here last time, shouldn't be inconvenienced down in distance.
Sent off 9-4f on seasonal return at Southwell last month and going well when he fell, since finished 15L second seven behind Asockastar at Worcester (2m4f, good; 11-8f) and must find improvement on that showing.

Forecasts
Caius Marcius (1/1), Ennistown (6/4), Al Shahir (9/2), Capital Force (13/2)
Caius Marcius arrives on the back of a solid front-running display to win at Hexham last time and must be feared but ENNISTOWN is also thriving and can complete a quick-fire hat-trick. His recent scores, including here last time, have come over further but the nine-year-old was smart on the level in his youth and shouldn't be out of his comfort zone reverting to this trip. Al Shahir and Capital Force both have their quirks, with the former just about preferred after the top two.
- Ennistown
- Caius Marcius
