Dual winner went close off a 2lb higher mark in most recent UK handicap start although has been off the track 555 days since running at Meydan last winter. Yard more than capable of readying one at home however so not ruled out.
Dropped to a mark just 1lb higher than last win now and there were excuses when beaten by a progressive sort latest at Newmarket, Convinced he will win a race such as this very soon; could easily be today.
Won twice this season but not quite shown top form since most recent success over 1m at Chelmsford (AW). Does still have to prove himself capable off this sort of mark.
Still yet to make the frame in five turf starts (AW winner) and indeed has failed to beat a rival in last two races on this surface. Risky proposition.
Five-time winner (four over 7f) returned from a 112-day break with a well held but still respectable third at Chelmsford last month. Doesn't appeal as particularly well handicapped but still has sound place claims.
Group 2 winner at Maisons-Laffitte in 2017. Down the field in the Wokingham last start and has really struggled since a very good eighth in last year's Group 1 Commonwealth Cup. Handicap does appeal but not at all consistent and 7f?
Raised 3lb for winning over this trip at Redcar but he was still able to run a sound race in third (of eight) at Newcastle latest. Far from out of this and expectant of a bold bid.
Five-time winner for Richard Hannon looked somewhat rejuvenated for a change of surroundings when a close fifth behind a good winner latest. More to come now and won off 9lb higher mark in 2017 so rates a leading candidate here.

George William (3/1), Raydiance (3/1), Makzeem (6/1), Yattwee (6/1), War Glory (7/1), Cliffs Of Capri (15/2), Fighting Irish (10/1), Shady Mccoy (14/1), Glendevon (16/1)
After a very pleasing stable/season debut at Newmarket GEORGE WILLIAM can kick on here off a mark which is surely well within his compass. Right on his heels at Newmarket was Makzeem and the two of them are likely closely matched here again. Raydiance has found some form now and rates the biggest danger to the two.
- George William
- Makzeem
- Raydiance
