Returned three weeks ago from a season point-to-pointing , winning a C&D novices hurdle very easily. Appears to have strong claims and any rain would not be an issue.

Ran well on most starts for Alan King but failed to score last season, but has done well since joining current yard in April. Won at Uttoxeter (2m7f) prior to being well outpointed at same track last time. Possibly a little more needed.

Verdict

DECOR IRLANDAIS can may the trip across the Irish Sea pay and follow up his recent C&D victory. If in similar mood he should be hard to beat. Stony Stream has plenty of potential and might develop into a fair sort, so could prove dangerous if handling the step up in trip, while Charming Dream showed much improved form on debut for the yard last time at Hexham and might also be a danger if he starys the extra six furlongs. Fortified Bay is not out of it but did look rather slow last time at Uttoxeter.
