4-4 on a sound surface and recorded an impressive time on penultimate start. Has plenty in hand of his main rival on speed figures but far less on official ratings. As a son of Gold Well there should be more to come over this trip.
Tricky mount who threw away a winning opportunity at Ludlow and again at Worcester. Given a canny ride to score here a month ago when helped by blinkers and the omission of hurdles in the home straight.
Five-time winner in points but soon in trouble over fences two weeks ago and reverts to hurdles. Faces a tough test here against rivals rated 130 plus.

Official ratings give a decisive edge to Sunset Showdown but he was rated only 124 going into his last race which was an unsatisfactory contest and he has looked a tricky customer. As a result it looks safer to side with BRAID BLUE, particularly if conditions remain sound given the forecast for overnight rain. The Irish raider is a winner of four races and has impressed on his last two outings. The prospect of racing over 3m should see him progress further and he is hard to oppose.
