Thriving of late, and gained third win from last four starts when taking an amateur riders' event at Pontefract last time. Well placed for those wins, and may prove vulnerable pitched in against a few unexposed rivals now.
Regular winner at Chelmsford (1¼m) over the winter, but as potent a force on turf, and latest third of 5 to Tangramm at Nottingham last time is indicative of his merit. Will remain vulnerable on this surface.
Out of a half-sister to Derby winner Kris Kin, and improved on previous form when fourth of 7 to Logician in a 1¼m novice at Newmarket last time. Should progress further, and opening mark looks very reasonable.
Has looked short of pace at up to 1m, but has run well on both handicap starts at that trip. By a Derby winner, so expected to improve now stepping up in trip, and one to consider as a result.
Not disgraced when mid-field on handicap bow at Newmarket, but has been well beaten on both starts since, and easy enough to oppose on balance of form.
Maiden winner for Tom Dascombe, but off more than a year before debut for current yard. Has made no impact in handicaps this year, and is essentially out of her depth in this grade.
Forecasts
Earth And Sky (15/8), Rock The Cradle (9/4), Edgar Allan Poe (9/2), The Corporal (11/2), The Night King (7/1), Conqueress (50/1)
Edgar Allan Poe could not be in better heart, but he's been found some good opportunities of late, and looks vulnerable taking on a couple of unexposed three-year-olds. Earth And Sky improved when fourth to a good prospect last time, but the vote goes to ROCK THE CRADLE, who split subsequent winners at Newmarket last time, and ought to do much better now stepping up beyond a mile for the first time.
