Drop down to minimum trip is a plus but a veteran who doesn't see much action these days and only of interest here if market speaks in his favour.
Two wins in a month last autumn for previous yard and back on same mark now. Has shown nothing however, for present yard and hard to be positive about in current form.
Didn't stay marathon trip when last seen but this distance far more suitable and his Chepstow second over 2m in October reads well here. Stable took this a year ago and one of the more likely types with excellent claimer aboard.
Wind operation seemed to benefit when second to handicap good thing over C&D last time (had Tingo In The Tale 6L behind). That was career best and repeat would put him in the mix.
Similar level of form when placed in winter when last seen in this sphere. Fit from the Flat though bit more needed for win purposes.
Won a seller and claimer in 2017 on first spell with this yard. Rejoined Skelton this season but has disappointed on both starts when sent off favourite so bit to prove at present though return to minimum trip should help.
Off the mark at 17th attempt over hurdles when landing a gamble over C&D last month but well held third off this much higher mark since and needs to show that wasn't a one-off.
Has been chasing of late and now returns to smaller obstacles off 11lb lower mark than when last seen over them in January. Interesting from handicapping point of view and one for the short list.
Struggling for present yard though has won three times over hurdles in the past including here in 2016. Needs to return to best however, though market check advisable.
Long standing maiden who has yet to hit the frame over hurdles. Drop down to minimum trip for first time since 2017 could be a help but others preferred.
Forecasts
Royal Beekeeper (11/4), Primogeniture (11/2), Head Lad (11/2), Life Knowledge (6/1), Camlad Kingfisher (8/1), Tingo In The Tale (17/2), Watt Broderick (12/1), Mileva Roller (14/1), Northandsouth (16/1), Thomas Blossom (80/1)
HEAD LAD patently failed to see out the 3m2f trip when last seen but has enough form at 2m to make him of interest here especially as he has performed well after a break before. Primogeniture is well treated on his return to the smaller obstacles and could pose a threat while the breathing operation prior to last run clearly worked for Camlad Kingfisher and he looks best of the rest.
- Head Lad
- Primogeniture
- Camlad Kingfisher
