Useful staying handicapper at his best but has struggled this season and returns now following wind surgery. off 8lb loweer than last turf start at Epsom in April. Very well handicapped if his breathing is right so market signals worth noting.

Yard in tremendous form, as usual, but he hasn't won on turf since scoring at Beverley back in 2016. Fair fourth at Catterick on belated seasonal reappearance two weeks ago and should be better for that outing off 2lb lower mark.

Stayed on well when beaten just a length in Cumberland Plate at Carlisle last time hinting he may be up to taking advantage off reduced handicap mark. All three British wins have come here over 1m2f but wasn't stopping last time at around this trip.

Ex-Irish trained gelding who won over a mile on Flat and has also scored over hurdles. Second start for new handler who has yet to train a winner. Faced stiff task after year off at York on debut for yard last time. 4lb lower but more needed.

Talented bumper horse (3-4) and won on Flat bow at Muuselburgh over 1m4f. Gone close both starts since in novice company over shorter trips and return to 1m4f looks right move. Very interestng on handicap bow.

Doing well this term, winning at a mile on seasonal reappearance then 1m2f h'cap at Leicester in May. Solid second at Chester last time and step up in trip worth a try off 1lb higher mark for in-form yard.

Verdict

ALRIGHT SUNSHINE is a fascinating contender. A winner of 3-4 in bumpers, he has already shown he can mix it on the Flat and has been given a fair chance on his handicap bow. Appointed won nicely here last month and the mare ran well again last time in defeat so has claims, while Conundrum could be a danger if he sees out this new trip. Final will be sharper for his recent return effort, whlie Mutamaded is running well of late and should give a bold sight. Mount Tahan is very well handicapped if the wind surgery has helped him over whatever has been holding him back of late.
  1. Alright Sunshine
  2. Mutamaded
  3. Conundrum
