Leopardstown mile maiden winner last summer. Good run behind Japan in Group 2 Beresford Stakes after. Third in Ballysax Stakes on seasonal return and second 1m5f listed event at Navan penultimate start. Outclassed Ascot latest but big chance here.

Caught the eye on debut at Gowran in May over a mile, then popped up at 12/1 to win 1m2f Down Royal maiden last month. Open to further improvement and looks sure to be thereabouts.

Mount Nelson gelding cost 22,000 euros as a yearling. Racecourse debut here and likely to improve for the outing, unless market indicates he's above average. Stable companion of Shared Ambition.

Dunaden filly who has hinted at a litle ability in two Limerick maidens over extended 1m3f, but this looks tough and will probably do better once handicapped.

Xtension filly who offers mixed messages from pedigree. Behind until stayed on late on debut at Bellewstown earlier in the month, suggesting she's up to winning a race or two. Market worth monitoring for any sign of confidence.

Forecast

Pythion (2/9), Shared Ambition (4/1), X' Girl (12/1), Snow Leopard (20/1), Rare Pearl (100/1)

Verdict

PYTHION is the obvious call given his good form in pattern company but he won't have it all his own way. Nonetheless, it will be a surprise if he fails to land a second career victory. Shared Ambition is unexposed and won well last time, suggesting he might be decent. He should make a race of it with the selection, while 'X' Girl has plenty to find but made a fair start on debut and should have learned plenty.
