Seven-race maiden over hurdles but has been running well in defeat in a couple of starts since returning to action last month. One of the more intriguing contenders.

Yet to get off the mark in six bumper starts to date. Good effort on latest start at Roscommon earlier this month and should be noted that leading trainer thinks the time is right for hurdling debut.

Produced a career best over hurdles finishing second of 15 beaten 9L here over a similar trip last month. A repeat effort would herald another bold bid.
Daughter of Mahler failed to complete in a couple of point-to-point starts before beaten over 30L on both hurdle contests to date. Not in the form required to play a part.

Daughter of Helmet out of an Unfuwain mare. Dam dual winner for Dermot Weld over 1m4f. Improvement needed on a couple of poor point-to-point efforts earlier in the season and others preferred on hurdling debut.

Mustameet filly out of a Mr Combustible mare. Dam, eight-race maiden over hurdles. Best watched on debut for Co Kildare yard who have failed to hit the frame in 10 attempts this term.

Basement 51-rated handicapper on the Flat, sent off at odds of 66/1 on hurdling debut in a Punchestown maiden last month, running accordingly in the process. Hard to place any faith in.

11/4
Nine-race maiden who has been running well in defeat when hitting the frame on a number of occasions since April. Likable type who should be in the mix.

Forecasts

Inishbel (5/2), So Enjoy (11/4), Laureate (3/1), Kashmir Wilde (4/1), Carriealice (20/1), Miraculum (33/1), Miss Lanefox (50/1), Altumanina (66/1)

Verdict

The daughter of Oscar, KASHMIR WILDE can take this for the Gordon Elliott yard on hurdling debut following a stiff six-race bumper campaign. The Five-year-old can take advantage of the more experienced trio of Inishbel, runner up at this venue last time out So Enjoy and the solid looking daughter of Poets Voice, Laureate.
  1. Kashmir Wilde
  2. So Enjoy
  3. Laureate
