8/1

Off the mark at the fifth time of asking for connections when landing a 2m2½f Kilbeggan hurdle last month. Last of seven on her revised mark at Downpatrick since and needs to improve on that effort here.

Form: 42-2717

Roney^t⁷⁸

Age: 5| Weight: 11-8| J: Sean O'Keeffe⁽⁷⁾| T: P Nolan| OR: 105

6/1

Five-race maiden but has managed to hit the frame on three occasions. Caught the eye on creditable chasing debut at Wexford when last seen in April and may have place claims once again reverting to hurdles.

Form: 323504-

Colour Me In⁶⁴

Age: 4| Weight: 11-5| J: D J Mullins| T: T Mullins| OR: 108

12/1

Yet to hit the frame in seven starts over hurdles but produced her best effort for sometime when finishing fourth of seven beaten 10L in a Cork novice contest over 2m3f when last seen in May. Place claims.

Form: 469P6-4

Amor Verdadero⁸

Age: 5| Weight: 11-3| J: D N Russell| T: G Elliott| OR: 100

1/1

Deservedly off the mark for connections at the fifth attempt when landing a maiden hurdle at last weeks Bellewstown meeting. Mark of 100 appears workable on handicap debut.

Form: P-42221

Misty Mountain³⁰

Age: 5| Weight: 11-2| J: Liam McKenna⁽⁷⁾| T: J J Lambe| OR: 99

16/1

Racing on the Flat recently, the Lemon Drop Kid mare is still a five-race maiden over hurdles. Not in the form required to play a part on handicap debut.

Form: 4248P-

Tildas Icon^h,t³²

Age: 5| Weight: 10-12| J: A W Short⁽⁵⁾| T: P Griffin| OR: 95

33/1

Without a win in nine hurdle starts with the mare beaten 60L on her most recent start in a Punchestown maiden last month. Still looking no nearer to breakthrough success.

Form: 35/667-0

Vic's Little Miss^t⁵²

Age: 6| Weight: 10-12| J: D J McInerney⁽³⁾| T: P W Flynn| OR: 95

11/1

Early promise of hurdling debut at Cork in April has diminished with a number of dismal efforts since. Will need to improve on overall form to play a significant role in this contest.

Form: 767-840

Little Lady Lu²⁷

Age: 4| Weight: 10-8| J: Gavin Brouder⁽⁷⁾| T: J Nash| OR: 97

20/1

Three-race maiden who displayed plenty of promise when fourth of 14 beaten 8L in a career best effort at Tramore in May. Beaten since but may have place claims in a weak looking contest.

Form: 6S5-947

Belle West^p³⁹

Age: 6| Weight: 10-0| J: J J Burke| T: W J Burke| OR: 83

6/1

First-time cheekpieces triggered improvement when finishing third of 13 beaten over 19L in a Wexford maiden hurdle last month. Capable of a big run with headgear retained and dropping in trip.

Form: 4F007-3

Forecasts

Amor Verdadero (1/1), Belle West (6/1), Roney (6/1), Beat Of The Sea (8/1), Vic's Little Miss (11/1), Colour Me In (12/1), Misty Mountain (16/1), Little Lady Lu (20/1), Tildas Icon (33/1)

Wexford third in a 2m4½f maiden hurdle last month Belle West and the Paul Nolan-trained Roney, fourth of 13 beaten 4½L at Wexford when last seen in April can both give a good account of themselves but may have to battle for the minor honours behind the quick returning AMOR VERDADERO. The Gordon Elliott-trained daughter of Jeremy deservedly got off the mark at the fifth time of asking at last weeks Bellewstown meeting, landing a 12-runner maiden over 2m4f by 3L and can launch another bold bid off his opening mark.
