Course winner finished a good fourth in a 2m2f beginners chase on good ground here just over a year ago. Absent since falling at this venue six days later however and likely best watched back over hurdles following an absence.
15 time winner under all codes including when victorious by 3L in a handicap chase over an extended 2m3f on good ground here in May. One for the shortlist off a 2lb lower mark on return to hurdling.
Impressive 16L winner of a 3m1f handicap hurdle at Kilbeggan (good) last time out. Raised 10lb for that effort and is likely to play a leading role dropping back in distance.
Placed over fences at Cork (2m4f, good-to-yielding) in April but had just one start since. Returns to hurdles with cheekpieces tried for the first time on handicap debut.
Course winner finished a good second in a claiming race over an extended 1m4f at Sligo (good) last month. Debuting for a new yard with tongue tie tried for the first time and blinkers returning on first hurdles start since last August.
Broke his maiden over hurdles when winning over 2m4f at Listowel (good) early last month. Raised 6lb for that victory and is a notable runner once more.
Decent effort when 14L third in a maiden hurdle over 2m4f at Wexford (good) in May. Hails from a top yard and is one to note on handicap debut.
Career best effort when finishing 11L fourth in a 2m3f maiden hurdle on good ground here in April. Interesting stepping up in distance on handicap debut.
Placed on each of his last two starts including over an extended 2m5f at Downpatrick (yielding) last time out. Races off a 3lb higher mark on this occasion.

Run well on all three starts since winning a handicap chase at Wexford (3m1f, yielding) in April. Finished runner-up in a 2m4f handicap chase there recently and races off a mark 11lb lower than if this were a chase race.
Victorious in a 2m5f handicap hurdle at Tramore (good) in May and put a below par effort there subsequently behind him when third over fences at Downpatrick (2m3f, yielding) last time out. Worth a check in the market on this occasion.
Fair 18L fourth in a handicap hurdle over an extended 2m5f at Downpatrick (yielding) last time out. Races off a mark 6lb lower than for his latest success.
Built on some promising placed efforts this year when winning by 10L over 3m at Tipperary (good) earlier this month. Raised 7lb for that success and is one for the shortlist in this contest.
Ten race maiden finished well beaten over an extended 2m5f at Downpatrick (yielding) on her most recent start. Blinkers (first time) replaced the cheekpieces worn of late.
Winner three times on the Flat but pulled up on both starts over jumps since returning from a break and is probably best watched at present.

The drop in trip shouldn't inconvenience impressive Kilbeggan winner CLASSIC CONCORDE and he is taken to follow up that victory with a success in this staying handicap hurdle. The selection has a useful amateur rider on board and he can get the better of Courtin Bb who is another to have won at Kilbeggan last time. Third place can go to the admirable veteran Shake The Bucket on his return to hurdling.
