Good third in a 2m4f handicap hurdle at Thurles (good-to-firm) last November. Well held at a big price upped to 2m7f there the following month and is worth a check in the market on return from a break.
Fair sixth in a big field 1m6f handicap at Bellewstown (good) on seasonal debut earlier this month. Interesting to see how he fares on return to hurdles.
Beaten 5½L when finishing tenth in a 2m hurdle on handicap debut at Wexford (good) last time out. More needed stepping up slightly in distance.
Dual hurdles winner including over 2m at Wexford (good-to-firm) just over a year ago. Disappointing of late but now back down to his last winning mark.
Course winner ran well to finish third in a 2m handicap hurdle at Tipperary (good-to-yielding) in May. Disappointed on soft ground on the Flat there subsequently and return to jumping is in his favour.
Placed twice over hurdles last year including at Clonmel (2m4f, good) in October. Market support would be notable on his first start of 2019.
Held place chances when unseating late on at Clonmel (2m4f, good) in a maiden hurdle in May. Struggled six days later and blinkers tried for the first time on handicap debut following a break.
Returning from a break when finishing third over 2m at Tramore (good) in May. Pulled up over the same C&D nine days later and needs to return to form to figure in this event.
Broke his maiden when winning a 2m3f handicap hurdle on good ground here at the end of May. Fair fifth off this 6lb higher mark subsequently and drop back in distance no issue.
Victorious in a handicap hurdle over an extended 2m1f at Ballinrobe (good) in April. Well held in two subsequent starts however and probably best watched at present.
Failed to figure in four starts over hurdles including on handicap debut at Tipperary (2m, good-to-yielding) in May. Others hold stronger claims on return from a break.
C&D winner but held in recent starts including when 24L fifth at Tipperary (2m, good-to-yielding) in a first time tongue tie (absent here) in May. Won off higher marks in the past and blinkers tried for the first time.
Beaten 27L when sixth in a maiden hurdle over an extended 2m4f at Wexford (good-to-yielding) early last month. More needed on handicap debut.
Maiden after six starts and struggled on both completed outings since switched to handicap company. Probably best watched on return from a short break.

STILL ALIVE looks capable of putting a disappointing Flat effort behind him to take this competitive looking handicap hurdle. The selection was placed on his most recent jumps start and with forecast ground conditions in his favour he can get the better of Celtic Dancer who was a winner here in the spring while third place can go to Hey Groovy who is making her return from a break.
- Still Alive
- Celtic Dancer
- Hey Groovy
