Three time winner last year but this season's form has been below her best. May continue to struggle until getting further relief from the handicapper. Wears first time cheekpieces.

Four wins on the AW but yet to score on turf from eight starts. Still went close over this C&D last time and down a further 2lb. On an attractive mark at present and can be involved again.

Remains 2lb higher than last winning mark but raced to that level when second over this C&D two starts back. Disappointed over 6f last time but could bounce back at this distance.

Has shown a consistent level of form in five starts on the AW and now makes turf debut. More still needed to be involved and stable a bit quiet at present.

Inconsistent but capable on his day on the AW and gets to race off a 3lb lower mark on turf. Two very poor runs at this track the last twice and questions to answer now on turf.

Last two wins came over 6f at this track but has previously won at this distance. Has dropped 17lb below last winning mark and his form this year has been largely poor. Needs to raise his game despite plummeting mark.

Plenty of promise in her first two AW starts but has failed to impress in her three turf starts since. First time visor added and down a further 3lb but hard to fancy.

Hit the line strongly in his back-to-back course wins over 6f and not disgraced in a big field from a poor draw at Doncaster subsequently. Looks to be still improving and worth another try at this trip. Rates a leading contender.

Badly out of form on the AW of late despite that being his preferred surface. Without a win from seven turf starts and easy to overlook.

Forecast

Sonnet Rose (7/4), Seraphim (7/2), Lincoln Red (7/1), Letmestopyouthere (8/1), Shyarch (10/1), Agent Of Fortune (12/1), Holy Tiber (14/1), Any Smile (16/1), Essential (20/1), Mochalov (40/1)

Verdict

Sonnet Rose looks up to winning on turf and a reproduction of her latest C&D second would be good enough to see her involved in the finish once again. LINCOLN RED is still progressing and his last three runs, which includes two course wins, have suggested that he's worth a third try at this far. Holy Tiber is on a competitive mark and is seemingly better suited by this trip nowadays.
  1. Lincoln Red
  2. Sonnet Rose
  3. Holy Tiber
