Course winner, made a winning season bow at Doncaster (1m4f, good; 11-2) in April but has since found it tougher on turf. Back on the AW with more needed from this mark.
Winner at Leicester (1m2f, good) on penultimate start and far from disgraced since at Pontefract. Can get involved here if first-time blinkers eke out some further improvement.
Effective on both turf and the AW but hasn't tasted victory since scoring at Chelmsford (1m2f) in May 2017; former C&D winner looks opposable on recent form.
Three-time Flat winner back in 2017 but best of his efforts since have been over timber. Well beaten in two starts since joining this trainer (including here over 1m4f) and can only be watched currently.
Runner-up last June in Windsor novice event on debut for Roger Charlton, son of Galileo changed hands over winter but has failed to fire in two runs this term over 1m2f. Handicap debut now, must improve.
Just 3-30 record, most recently winning over 1m2f at Epsom on soft going last August (rated 76). Didn't build on Windsor reappearance when encountering heavy ground at Haydock recently, needs to bounce back.
Nottingham maiden winner last year over 6f and mostly consistent since on turf at trips up to 1m. Could be an interesting player here over a new trip; watch betting.
Winner over further than this when last spotted in France a year ago, makes British debut here and market likely the solid guide as to what is expected.
Nine-years-old, winner of a Leicester seller in May (first win since 2015) but hasn't achieved much in two runs for this yard on the AW since. Can be opposed on those efforts.
Took advantage of low mark when just getting up to score over 1m3f at Carlisle on seasonal bow last month. Has gone up 3lb and now in a better race, ensuring a bit more is demanded.
Previous C&D winner, landed back-to-back wins at Wolverhampton and Yarmouth to kick-start the new season before being well held in Newbury apprentice race. Another 3lb higher here, could still harbour place claims.
Exceed And Excel gelding has been round the houses since winning 7f Leicester maiden in 2017, without any great threat of success it must be said. Beaten a long distance on debut for this trainer at Wolverhampton and plenty to ponder now.

Galileo Silver is an interesting runner here. He's not shown as much as might have been hoped but connections have been patient and he's into a handicap for the first time, with potential for better. Victory Chime sports first-time blinkers and shouldn't be far off if they have a positive effect while French import Walter White also falls into the intriguing category but perhaps this step up in trip will spark another success for the consistent LOCH NESS MONSTER, with Mick Appleby's charge having some promising races over a mile since his Nottingham maiden win last summer.
- Loch Ness Monster
- Victory Chime
- Walter White
