Yet to win under Rules (0-15) although he did show some fair form off higher marks than this for David Bridgewater. Ran a respectable race (and no more) on his first outing for this yard, sound enough claims if he can build on that.
Yet to win over fences (0-8); was a fairly useful hurdler at one time (won off a mark of 120 and rated higher). Continues to fall in the weights of late with very little sign of taking advantage; let down by his attitude/temperament last time.
Beaten a long way in all of his four hurdles starts since returning from 18 months off (all his defeats being by 40L plus). Had only shown modest form prior to his absence; now back from a wind op to make his chase debut, limited appeal.
Yet to win a race under Rules but does have some hurdling form in Ireland that makes him of interest off this mark as well as his Market Rasen third last time. Showed up well there (travelled well; faltered close home); interesting chasing newcomer.
Won half his of his four starts in point-to-points (successful on his last start in that sphere in May, won 12L). Yet to win under Rules (0-12) and well held when last seen in this sphere; doesn't look that well handicapped, watch for a market move.
Second run back from a wind op with that procedure looking to have made little difference to his recent form last time. To a certain extent it did stop a hefty slide but it was hardly offered much encouragement for the future.
Often looked a tough ride over hurdles his win last September being gained in a workmanlike style. Gave trouble at the start when last seen (clearly quirky); now returns from a fair absence to make his chase debut; treat with caution.
His winning form so far has come in point-to-points (2-12) with a tally of 0-14 clocked up under Rules in various spheres. Sound enough effort at Stratford last time when second; potentially well handicapped off this mark; not rejected.
Struggled for the most part for this yard initially over hurdles and more recently over fences. Has a mark that is sliding down the scale although he doesn't appear that willing to take advantage as yet; below form again last time.
Appeared to excel himself from 10lb out of the handicap when taking second last time (did attract some support) at Market Rasen to one who had won a few days earlier. Hard to call that a strong contest but runs off his proper mark this time.
9lb out of the weights makes life difficult enough in the first place even in a modest contest like this but he's in poor form generally. Pulled up last time (also miles out of the weights); very hard to mould a persuasive case for him.
