Tough and genuine sort. Appreciates good ground and trip is perfect too. Well clear on ratings. Hard to beat, despite having to concede weight to all.
Seems to like this time of year. Disappointing at two major spring Festivals. From a great jumping family and won well on return at Kilbeggan last time but has it all to do to beat Peregrine Run.
Consistent likeable gelding who goes up and down in trip. Disappointed at Fairyhouse last time out when last of six but has run well in defeat at this venue before.
Tailed off in four starts this year, still above his last winning handicap mark and hard to fancy at present.
Cracking mare who is in form and consistent. Great NH pedigree. Rated 22lb below Peregrine Run but has won three times already this year and has place claims.
Well beaten in the Mayo National by Peregrine Run and is worse off with him here.
Forecasts
Peregrine Run (10/11), Conrad Hastings (6/4), Mill Quest (12/1), Crosshue Boy (14/1), Carrig Cathal (25/1), Fenlon's Hill (33/1)
A quality chase ,with the forever gamePEREGRINE RUN setting the standard. His victory over Jett at Punchestown last time out was commanding. He seems to be improving even at the age of nine; a throughly decent performer. To fill the places: Conrad Hastings likes the sun and decent ground . The Mare Mill Quest is in great form at present but has a tough task on ratings.
- Peregrine Run
- Conrad Hastings
- Mill Quest
